Ahead of our first live performance, Montreal Rocks featured ZOKALO and introduced the band to Montréal’s independent music community.
The article highlighted our multilingual identity, with songs written and performed in English, Spanish, and French, as well as a sound that moves between alternative rock, indie pop, dark wave, and electronic textures.
The feature also announced our first-ever live show, held on July 11, 2026 at Café La Ligne Verte in Montréal, where we presented an original set including Don’t Fuck It Again, The Blue Lovers, and Quiero Buscarte.
For ZOKALO, being featured by a publication dedicated to Montréal’s music scene just before taking the stage for the first time was a meaningful way to mark the beginning of our journey as a live band.
